A. Just click on forgot password below the boxes where you enter your username and password and follow the instructions.

A. You can change your username and/or password by going to My Account and editing the appropriate boxes.

Q. How do I modify/edit my profile?

A. You can make changes to and edit your profile by going to My Account and clicking
on edit profile.

Q. How do I view my profile?

A. You can view your profile by going to My Account and clicking on view profile. Your profile will not appear when you do a search, as you cannot search for your own profile. Be assured that if your profile appears when you click on view profile under My Account that other members can see your profile when they search ads.

Q. How do I change my registration/personal contact information?

A. You can change your registration/contact information by going to My Account, changing and filling in the appropriate fields, and clicking on edit registration.

Q. What are UberDate's profile guidelines?

A. UberDate wants all members to have a safe and fun online dating experience, and for that reason, the following are not allowed on profiles:

  • Any personal contact information such as last name, phone number, personal or business email address, instant message/ICQ address, street address or website URL.
  • Abusive, obscene, sexually explicit or vulgar language, as well as any description or reference to illegal behavior.
  • Copyrighted or trademarked information.

Q. Can I be notified on my personal email (ex: janedoe@aol.com) when a member sends me a message on the UberDate double blind email system?

A. Yes, you do this by checking the appropriate box under My Account and then by clicking on edit registration.

Photos

Q. Should I post a photo?

A. Yes! Online dating has gone mainstream and you will receive 4-8 times the number of responses from other members with a photo than you would without a photo. If you are still not comfortable with posting a photo, you may want to state in the text of your profile that you have a photo available, so you can then email it to a person of interest after you have established a rapport and exchanged a safe personal email address such as one of the free ones from Yahoo or MSN.

Q. What are the guidelines for posting a photo?

A. Photos must show you as clearly visible. Obscene, nude and sexually suggestive photos are prohibited. You may not post photos that are not of yourself (having friends in a photo with you is allowed if you have their permission to post it) or are of any copyrighted or trademarked material. UberDate will review all photos before posting them and reserves the right to deny the posting of any photo at our discretion.

Q. How do I post a photo?

A. To post a photo, go to My Account and click on Add/Edit Image. You must have a photo stored on your computer to post a photo. If you do not have a photo scanned to your computer and do not have access to a digital camera to download to your computer, you can take a blank disk and a standard photo of yourself to Kinko's or a similar store and they will scan it onto the disk for you. You can then load the photo from the disk onto your computer and onto your profile.

My Matches

Q. Why do I want to create a match profile?

A. A match profile allows you to do a quick search under My Matches for individuals who meet criteria you are looking for, such as a certain height, hair color or body type. It also allows you to receive email notification of new members who meet your match criteria.

Q. How do I create a match profile?

A. You can go to My Matches and click on the link to create a match profile, or you can go to My Account and click on Create/Edit MatchMaker.

Q. How do I edit my match profile?

A. You can edit your match profile by going to My Account and clicking on Create/Edit MatchMaker.

My Mailbox

Q. How do I send an email to another member?

A. You click on the box at the bottom of the profile of the person you have an interest in. Only paying members can send an email to another member. However, non-paying members can respond to emails sent to them by other members.

Q. How do I view email that has been sent to me?

A. You view your email by going to My Mailbox and clicking on the appropriate message in your Inbox.

Q. How do I view email that I have sent to other members?

A. You view email you have sent by going to My Mailbox and clicking on the appropriate message in the Sent Messages box.

Q. Can I be notified on my personal email (ex: janedoe@aol.com) when a member sends me a message on the UberDate double blind email system?

A. Yes, you do this by checking the appropriate box under My Account and then by clicking on edit registration.

A. Yes, you can do this by going to My Account and clicking on Create/Edit MatchMaker and then checking the appropriate box.

My Favorites

Q. How do I use My Favorites?

A. When you are viewing a member's profile you can either send that member a double blind email, email a friend about the member you are viewing or ad that member to your My Favorites list. This makes it easy for you to track down profiles that you have an interest in, as they can be stored in My Favorites.

Cancel Membership

Q. How do I cancel my upgraded membership?

A. To cancel your upgraded membership for which you are currently being billed, go to ccBill Customer Service.

Q. How do I delete my profile?

A. To delete your profile, go to My Account and then click on Delete Profile at the bottom of the page.
